A man has sparked debate on social media after criticising people who speak confidently about marriage despite never having experienced it themselves.
He questioned why many unmarried people go online to define what marriage is or isn't, insisting that they often know very little about the realities of married life.
According to him, every marriage is unique, and one person's experience should not be treated as the standard for everyone else.
He also advised young women not to build their views about marriage, pregnancy and family life solely on stories shared online or by other people, stressing that personal experiences differ and should not be generalised.
His remarks have since generated mixed reactions, with some agreeing that experience matters when discussing marriage, while others argued that people can still offer valuable opinions without being married.
